Refund policy

At Sattva, our products are made using carefully sourced textiles, including upcycled fabrics, patchwork, reclaimed denim, and canvas materials. Each product is thoughtfully created with sustainability and craftsmanship in mind. 

Product Variations

Sattva products are made by artisans or handcraft using fresh carefully sourced textlies or patchwork and upcycled textiles, meaning every piece is inherently unique. While we make every effort to represent our products accurately in photographs, the exact fabric placement, patchwork pattern, textile combination, hand emboridery, and colour composition may vary slightly from the images shown on the website. These variations are a natural result of working with artisans and reclaimed or upcycled materials, and are part of the character of the product. Such variations do not qualify as defects and are not considered valid grounds for returns or refunds. Most of the processes are manual hence irregularities may occur, which are characteristic of the process and are not to be counted as defects.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged.

  • The wrong product was delivered.

  • The item has a defect.

Requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving the product.

To initiate a return, follow the return process within your orders, and write an email to orders.sattvaindia@gmail.com citing the following:

  • Order number

  • Photographs of the product clearly showing the issue

  • A short description of the problem

Conditions for Returns

To be considered for returns:

  • The item must be eligible for return.

  • The item must be unused and unwashed.

  • The product must be returned in its original condition.

  • All tags, packaging, and labels must remain intact.

  • Refund shipping costs of a lumpsum Rs.150 shall be deducted from your store credit.

Sattva reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Refund Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • We reserve the right to inspect products before processing returns, or refunds.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

  • All approved refunds will be provided as store credit only.

  • Store credit is valid for one year from the date of credit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products purchased during sale or promotional events.

  • Items that show visible signs of use.

  • Products returned without prior authorisation.

  • Made-to-order products.

  • Returns not preceeded by an email as mentioned above.

Returns and Refunds Grievances

For any grievances regarding returns and refunds, please write to us at orders.sattvaindia@gmail.com and include:

  • Order number or payment confirmation ID.

  • Photographs of the product clearly showing the issue (for returns), or a screenshot of payment.

  • A short description of the problem.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of being placed or until the order is shipped, whichever is earlier.

Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer exchanges. If your return is approved, you may place a new order separately.
