Craft grows through collaboration

At SATTVA, craft evolves through partnerships—with artisans, communities, and organisations who believe in meaningful work and thoughtful design.

Building skills. Creating livelihoods.

The SATTVA Outreach Program trains women and emerging artisans in tailoring and craft—from foundational stitching to advanced product-making.

Tailoring Training

Basic and advanced tailoring batches are conducted through Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti (RKSS).

A community of skill

SATTVA works closely with a dedicated artisan cluster of trained women tailors and craftswomen in Mumbai.

Within the cluster, artisans contribute different skills—some focus on patchwork or embroidery, while others specialise in textile preparation, product assembly, and finishing.

This collaborative way of working allows us to:

  • Honour specialised craft skills
  • Maintain quality in every product
  • Create meaningful work across the community

Together, the cluster brings SATTVA collections to life—one carefully crafted piece at a time.

Looking Ahead

As SATTVA grows, we look forward to working with more artisan communities and expanding our craft clusters.

Soon you will be able to discover collections shaped by each cluster.
